Mortgage Rates Rise Ahead of Federal Reserve Meeting
In May, the Federal Reserve raised their rate by half a percentage point, the biggest increase in 22 years. The Federal Reserve is set to have another meeting next week, and investors are anticipating yet another increase of half-a-percentage point in order to push back against inflation. Unfortunately, this action may inadvertently cause a rise in mortgage rates.
